VivaCell-MTS is general sponsor of “New Names” festival

VivaCell-MTS is the general sponsor of “New Names” 5th International Festival of Classical Music, which kicked off in Yerevan. Young musicians and performers participate in the festival.

More than 40 young talents aged 18 and under from Armenia, Russia, U.S., Germany, Japan, China, Australia and Georgia take part in “New Names” 5th Festival.

“The festival’s naming – “New Names” – speaks for itself. The viability of all types of art is accounted by the change of generations, revelation of new names, encouraging and supporting them. First steps in the world of classical music are hard for even the most talented young people. They need a platform, which would enable them to demonstrate to the world their talent and the fruits of their painstaking work of many years. This festival is one such platform, which grants young musicians from around the world an opportunity to perform on the big stage and communicate with each other, VivaCell-MTS feels delighted to support this amazing festival,” noted VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian.

The festival is dedicated to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide.
