MTS does not to cut down investments in Armenia

Yerevan /Mediamax/. MTS Vice-President Oleg Raspopov stated today that the company will not cut down investments in Armenia.

Mediamax reports that, speaking at the presentation of VivaCell-MTS 3G network in Gyumri today, Oleg Raspopov stated that in conditions of the crisis, MTS will optimize business processes and internal expenses.

He gave a high assessment to the efforts of VivaCell-MTS leadership on setting up a 3G network in Armenia. According to MTS Vice-President, the construction of the network was concluded back in December, 2008, and all the recent months the specialists of the company have realized testing to secure the best quality.

MTS Vice-President on Public Relations and Communications Andrey Terebenin noted that MTS launched 3G network in 20 towns of Russia, however in Armenia they have reached “the highest quality and speed of broadband mobile internet”.
