Simply Technologies launches Hattrick stats platform

Simply Technologies launched Hattrick platform – a self-refreshing football database that automatically covers football championships and cups.

The company’s CEO Harutyun Muradyan told Itel.am that they began with top 10 European championships, as well as Champions and Europa League.

“About 30% of content on sport news websites in Armenia can be generated automatically. I mean news with statistical data, for example, this game was played with this amount of goals on these minutes, scored by these players. Or this player marks his 100th game for the club. The platform is designed to generate such kind of information without human interference. Currently we collect statistics for the last 20-30 years about selection stages of Armenian national teams: goals, squads, yellow and red cards, etc,” Harutyun Muradyan said.

He informed that certain information was already available on the website.

“At this point the platform is not commercial. In the future we can add advertisement, but not something simple. It has to be interesting both for the readers and advertiser, and based on statistics. I should note that we won’t be the ones preparing the content, as it will be built on generated statistics,” Harutyun Muradyan said.

Simply Technologies CEO informed they planned to install artificial intelligence solutions in the platform later.

Touching on internships in the company, Harutyun Muradyan said they would become regular.

“The course will start in January and last one month. Not only our staff, but experts from other IT companies will also teach. The best students will get jobs. The courses will be free of charge, and we will pay a certain amount ourselves so that the students manage to cover their travel and such expenses during internship.
