Yerevan/Mediamax/. The main strategy direction for the Union of IT Enterprises (UITE) for 2011-2013 will be reformation in the sphere of education and business, as well as involvement of young personnel in IT.
Mediamax reports that President of the Union Hovhannes Avoyan said this at today’s 11th session of UITE Forum.
According to him, one of the main obstacles for development of this sphere is the deficit of qualified personnel. He noted that the Union intends to stir up contacts with the Ministry of Science and Education for setting up a technological Institute.
Executive Director of UITE Karen Vardanyan stated that UITE will continue initiating legislative changes, necessary for development of the IT sphere in Armenia.
He also noted that in 2011, UITE plans to unite 25% of the companies in the given sphere, increasing the number of the members from 52 to 68.
