“ArmenTel” got connected to the fourth independent connection channel

Yerevan/Mediamax/. “ArmenTel” CJSC (Beeline trademark) became the first operator of telecommunication services in Armenia, which got connected to the European backbone internet network by means of “Caucasus Cable System”.

Mediamax was informed in the press service of the company today that this direction is fully independent and, in addition to the existing three, will become a new main, providing “ArmenTel” with internet exit.

“Connection of our infrastructure to the fourth international channel is a part of our strategy on diversifying external connection channels. We, as a united connection operator, will have the chance to improve the quality of not only internet, but also international telephone connection”, General Director of “ArmenTel” Igor Klimko stated.

The new main goes through the bottom of the Black Sea and connects to the European backbone internet network on the territory of Bulgaria.
