Complex e-management system to be introduced in Armenia in 2012

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Within the framework of Armenia-EU political cooperation program, a complex e-management system should be introduced in Armenia starting January, 2012.

Mediamax reports that they spoke about this today at the session of interdepartmental workgroup on elaborating the concept of implementing an e-management system in Armenia. The session took place under the chairmanship of Artur Baghdasaryan, Secretary of the National Security Council under the Armenian President.

By September, 2010, the workgroup must have elaborated a concept for introducing an e-management system in Armenia.

Artur Baghdasaryan noted that the e-management system should include not only governmental and local governance bodies, but also provide for the opportunity of e-communication among managing subjects and governmental bodies.

Simultaneously with elaboration of the concept, they will also carry out legislative changes, in particular, they will elaborate and present to the government draft laws on “Database” and on “Personal Data Protection”.
