Over 500 computers sold within the framework of “Computer for all” pilot program in Armneia

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Over 500 computers have been sold within the framework of “Computer for all” pilot program in Armenia.

Mediamax reports that the chief expert of “Enterprise Incubator Foundation” Norayr Vardanyan informed on this today. According to him, they plan to make the number of sold computers reach 1500 by the end of the year.

There are three sales points within the framework of “Computer for all” functioning in Yerevan (Unicomp, DOXX Computers and X-ART), one in Gyumri (VEGA) and two in Vanadzor (LBF and VEGA).

Four more sales points will have been opened by the end of the year.

In January, 2010, discussion of the pilot program results will take place. If it is approved, the basic stage will be launched. It will provide for sales of computers all over Armenia.

Then Ministry of Economy of Armenia, “ABCA-Credit Agricole Bank”, “Enterprise Incubator Foundation”, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard and “Unicomp” are the partners of “Computer for all” program.
