Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Datacom Company (ADC) presented its new hosting solutions at DigiTec Expo 2009.
Mediamax reports that the Commercial Director of ADC Avetik Kalantaryan informed that the company provides services of virtual dedicated server (VDS), dedicated server, as well as the service of collocation in ADC Data Center.
The virtual dedicated server represents a physical server, divided into separate virtual sectors, which are given to companies for rent.
“VDS technology divides the server, the operational memory and the network resources, creating reliable hosting environment. Each VDS has its operational system, and problems in the work of one of VDSs are not reflected in the work of the remaining virtual dedicated servers, placed on the same physical server”, Avetik Kalantaryan stated, noting that the company provides services with intensified security from external attacks.
Presenting the service of the dedicated server, Avetik Kalantaryan stated that the given service is provided preferably to large companies, in particular, to banks. According to ADC Commercial Director, by acquiring the given service, the company gains the opportunity of all-comprehensive server administrative management and control.
The third novelty for the corporate sector is the service of collocation, which is a hosting solution for companies, which strive for having special terms of placement for their servers, at that without making volume investments. “Collocation allows companies placing their own servers in ADC Data Center, providing thus security and uninterrupted work of their servers”, Avetik Kalantaryan stated.
