Yerevan /Mediamax/. “ArmenTel” (Beeline trademark) will invest in the second half of the year $1.5mln in developing its internet infrastructures, General Director of the Company Igor Klimko stated.
Mediamax reports that speaking at a seminar in Tsakhkadzor, organized by “ArmenTel”, Igor Klimko stated that it is more beneficial for the company to work in wholesale market of internet services than in retail. Igor Klimko stated that internet providers need to build their own networks and take those networks to the customers, instead of demanding provision of “ArmenTel” infrastructures for rent.
Head of the company stressed that in the course of the recent year, “ArmenTel” had cut down the price for wholesale internet 9 times, however the prices for subscribers of Armenian providers did not change.
