Yerevan /Mediamax/. Public Services Regulatory Commission (PRSC) of Armenia partially approved the request of “K-Telecom” Company (VivaCell-MTS brand) on allocating radiofrequencies in order to expand the coverage of GSM network.
As the Head of Telecommunication Department of the Commission Gevorg Gevorgyan stated today, PSRC cannot satisfy the request of the company completely, since certain frequencies are meant for serving governmental structures.
He noted that PSRC has turned to the Ministry of Transport and Communication with the request to reconsider the list of frequencies and study the opportunity to free the radiofrequencies, requested by “K-Telecom”.
