Prime Minister sure that Orange will introduce new business culture in Armenia

Yerevan /Mediamax/. In 2009, “FTA-Telecom” Company (Orange Armenia brand) plans to realize additional investments at the volume of $70mln in Armenia.

As Mediamax was told in the press service of the government, General Director of “FTA-Telecom” Bruno Duthoit said this today at the meeting with the Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian. The Prime Minister welcomed the entry of Trance Telecom to the Armenian market, noting that “the necessity another serious company’s activity in telecommunication sphere has long ripened in our country”.

Bruno Duthoit noted that Orange Armenia is at the stage of formation and by the end of the year it plans to have concluded the preparation works and start its activity.

Tigran Sargsian singled out the importance of France Telecom Company’s arrival in the Armenian market as to different aspects. According to him, the competition in the sphere of services will increase, as a result of which the consumers will benefit, new workplaces will be created and new investments will be made. This factor, according to the Prime Minister, is most important in conditions of the current global financial-economic crisis. Tigran Sargsian also expressed confidence that Orange will introduce new business culture in Armenia.
