Team applies to SCPEC for permit to sign deal with VEON

Team LLC has announced today that on June VEON Armenia applied to the Public Services Regulatory Committee (PSRC) and State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition (SCPEC) for the permit to sell 100% of its shares to Team.

Team has added it has applied to SCPEC for the permit for this deal.

“Team is paving a new way in Armenia’s telecom and digital services market and this purchase will help us further enhance our professional team and develop the infrastructure,” said Team CEO Hayk Yesayan after confirming the reports about the possible deal.

He has noted that “Team. Telecom Armenia” has already begun designing and building a network of new generation. According to Hayk Yesayan, the purchase of VEON Armenia will further accelerate introduction of brand-new solutions and modern services for the Armenian consumers.
