TEDxHeratsiSt event held with support from Rostelecom

TEDxHeratsiSt was held with support from Rostelecom Armenia on February 29, 2020 at Elite Plaza business center.

The event was an initiative of a group of students (from the 3rd and 5th courses) of the Mkhitar Heratsi Erevan State Medical University, who obtained the required license from the official TEDx office in the U.S. The event was dedicated to the centennial of foundation of the university.

“We are happy to see that Armenia has such enterprising and purposeful students, who can bring world-renowned events like TED to Armenia. TED events used to focus on technologies and design but expanded the range of topics with time. Rostelecom values such events held for the youth, because the remarks and experience of the speakers inspire and guide young people in career choice and implementation of their ideas,” said Rostelecom Armenia CEO Hayk Faramazyan.

The attendees of TEDxHeratsiSt had the opportunity to listen to experienced speakers who have recorded notable achievements in their respective fields.
