Beeline surpasses the mark of 1 million subscribers

Beeline Armenia has surpassed the mark of 1 million subscribers, CEO Andrey Pyatakhin has announced today at the press conference, at which he spoke about the company’s recent achievements and handed over presents to Beeline clients who subscribed in 2018. Levon Markosyan from Yerevan received an iPhone XR.

“Today is a special day for Beeline Armenia. I am happy to announce that we have over 1 million mobile subscribers. I would like to thank Levon and other subscribers for trusting our service and to promise that Beeline will continue doing everything possible to improve the services day by day and become simpler and more convenient for our dear clients,” said Pyatakhin.

He presented Beeline Armenia’s recent achievements, telling that the active mobile subscriber base doubled over the last ten years and the smartphone penetration surpassed the mark of 60%.

Moreover, the 4G network coverage exceeds 80% of Yerevan. Over the course of 2018, Beeline increased the number of 3G base stations by 15%. That network covers over 85% of Armenia’s population.
