Armenian Startup Backstage took place on March 7 at ISTC center. This event within the frames of Startup Europe Week united the Armenian tech community.
The founders of 3 Armenian successful startups Davit Baghdasaryan from 2HZ, Ashot Tonoyan from Innaptics and Narek Safaryan from RenderForest talked the challenges they had to face in local ecosystem.
“This is a very important day for us, because startups and various initiatives supported by SMEDA are present at this event. It is great to see that we already have success stories owing to the support of this EU4Business initiative. The Armenian startup community is having some bright days ahead, and SMEDA is happy to help develop the ecosystem and have many startups flourish,” SMEDA team leader Eva Naeher said.
Armenian startup ecosystem representatives held a meetup, aimed at discussing lessons learnt and the upcoming challenges for the ecosystem.
The event is a joint-ecosystem initiative co-organized by Innovative Solutions and Technologies Center (ISTC) and EIF in cooperation with Catalyst Foundation, American University of Armenia, Global.AM and supported by EU4Business Support to SME Development (SMEDA) Project.
