The top managers of VEON Ltd. gathered in Yerevan to participate in global leadership meeting.
The goal of the meeting is to evaluate the previous work results, discuss and approve the group development main strategy. In particular, the global and regional digital products introduction to be discussed during the meetings. Armenia was chosen as a destination as it is a rapidly developing part of the group which has advanced practice in digital products and fixed infrastructures.
Jean-Yves Charlier, Chief Executive Officer of VEON, said: “I am delighted to be in Armenia. It is a strategic market for VEON in the Eurasia region. Beeline was first in Armenia and the third in the world to launch the fixed network with LTE-450 (Long-Term Evolution) standard in 2016. And of course the investments will continue here as well as the transformation and digitalization processes to make Beeline Armenia a modern technological organization. In any case our final goal is to bring new and innovative digital services to our customers in Armenia.”

We consistently invest in providing best-in-class digital communications services in the region. Here in Armenia we provide a full set of integrated communications services and our clients can benefit from this.”
