Nextury Ventures to invest in Armenia

Nextury Ventures venture capital fund intends to invest in Armenia.

According to Lithuanian 15min.lt portal, Founder & Chairman at Nextury Ventures Ilja Laurs said this after the meeting with Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan.

Nextury Ventures operates in Vilnius, London and Silicon Valley (U.S.), investing in innovation projects related to education.

“After the successful incorporation of our model in Lithuania, we decided to observe the possibilities of other countries and expand our operation further. Our experience shows that small countries are more adaptable to innovation. Currently we are interested in cooperation with Armenia,” Ilja Laurs said.

He stressed that Armenia is known for its potential in IT sector.
