Raffi Krikorian is appointed CTO of U.S. National Democratic Committee

Raffi Krikorian was appointed Chief Technology Officer of U.S. National Democratic Committee.

The latter confirmed his appointment on Twitter.

According to Recode, Raffi Krikorian will deal with tech issues, facilitating cyber defense of U.S. National Democratic Committee. The necessity arose after Russian hackers targeted Democrats in 2016, stole their private emails and shared them with WikiLeaks.

Raffi Krikorian, Senior Engineering Lead at Uber’s Advanced Technologies Center (ATC) stepped down from his position in February of 2017. He joined Uber in March of 2015. Previously Krikorian held the position of Vice-President at Twitter.
