ONEArmenia organization launched new fundraising campaign - Hye Tech Kids, to accelerate the development of technological centers throughout Armenia.
ONEArmenia, in partnership with the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) will equip five schools with Armath labs, a made-in-Armenia engineering lab that includes a 3D printer, CNC devices, hand-made mini-computers, a robot kit, and two educational coding programs.
The fundraising that has launched on May 30, will be continued until July 13.

USD 2000 is already raised. USD 57,882, is expected to be raised that will be used to train tutors and send to villages. The tutors will educate pre-school age children.
ONEArmenia Founder Patrick Sarkissian is convinced that Armenia has huge potential.
“There are 3,000 vacancies in the IT sector today. IT sphere is seeking for employees, while hundreds of young people are leaving the country to look for a job abroad”, he said.
A prototype of this program was implemented from 2008 to present by UITE, and has proven to be successful with 500 graduates to date, 70% of whom are now working, or continuing their education in the IT field.
According to the program, the students will become fully operational after finishing studies.
