Ucom and Polytechnic University to expand cooperation

Ucom CEO Hayk Yesayan had a meeting today at National Polytechnic University Of Armenia with the university’s professors and students.

During the meeting on the subject of “Current state of telecommunication technologies and development trends in Armenia”, Ucom CEO presented the market trends and told what to expect in the industry a few years from now.

“The world sees itself in convergent services in 2020. Any company that doesn’t offer joint fixed and mobile services won’t be able to exist in 3-5 years,” said Hayk Yesayan, who also graduated from the Polytechnic University.

According to him, the companies that don’t undergo transformation in the near future will be out of trends.

Ucom and the university agreed to name one of the rooms of the university “Ucom lab”.

Moreover, the best students from the 3rd and 4th courses of National Polytechnic University Of Armenia will begin working at Ucom, combining education and work.
