Rostelecom Armenia holds computer course for elders

Yerevan branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics launched today open courses for elders within “Internet Alphabet in Armenia” project.

The group includes 12 participants aged 55-80.

According to the company, the project is implemented among Russian speaking community at Russian Center of Science and Culture in Yerevan. Courses for Armenian speaking persons are to be organized in future. The project will be realized in Yerevan and large Armenian cities.

The courses are conducted by volunteering students, who specifically trained to work with elders.

12 elders participated in the similar course in 2015, and are now fluent computer users.

Any persons interested can take part in the project.
