On November 30, 2015 the hall of Russian Center for Science and Culture in Yerevan will host the awarding ceremony of participants, who took part in the competition "Thank You, Internet 2015" devoted to Middle Aged people’s individual achievements about computer literacy.
The contest was held from April 22 to October 1, 2015, and in Armenia it was held till October 15, 2015.
More 2,000 Middle Aged internet users (50+) from 78 regions of Russian Federation and Republic of Armenia with computer skills and internet literacy participated in the competition. According to the Board decision three participants of the Competition from Republic of Armenia were awarded with special prizes.
Awarding ceremony of the winners among the Armenian participants will be held on November 30, in Yerevan in the framework of events devoted to the launch of a social project in Armenia, where the presentation of the training manual "Azbuka Interneta in the Republic of Armenia" will be held.
The contest was launched in Armenia in late October and the active participation shows the interest of Middle Aged people that motivates them to participate in such projects.
The contest was organized by "Rostelecom" in Armenia, with the support of Russian Center for Science and Culture in Yerevan.
Armenia became the first country outside Russia where local people were allowed to take part in a Russian speaking contest.
