PicsArt to retrain children from Aparan

50 students from Aparan city Art School and dedicated group from Quchak community will take part in PicsArt’s photo and photo editing project trainings.

The project is being carried out by PicsArt and World Vision Yerevan.

“The development in Armenia is strongly connected with the development in technology. It doesn’t require natural resources, but only knowledge and appropriate education. I hope that it will become a new and important start in Armenian education process and it will impact positively not only on individuals but also communities and the future of the country”, said PicsArt’s Founder and Executive Manager Hovhannes Avoyan.

World Vision Armenia’s director Zhirayr Edilyan said that the program will help expand educational opportunities for socially challenged youth to arm with contemporary education and create opportunities for further career growth.

PicsArt financed the 2 schools to get 29 tablets.

The lessons will be carried out by the teachers of the dedicated groups that had been trained by PicsArt. The company specialists will visit the schools in the future to provide advice and support the lesson process.

Students that take part in PicsArt lessons will be given the opportunity to other users and exchange experience with them by posting their works in PicsArt webpage and taking part in online competitions.
