The 7th Pan-Armenian Painting Day was held at the Yerevan Zoo. The event, organized by the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC) in cooperation with VivaCell-MTS, is part of the Pan-Armenian Painting Contest held annually, which invites all Armenian children living in Armenia and abroad to submit their best nature painting for various prizes.
On Painting Day, zoo visitors had the opportunity to enjoy music, art, dancing and numerous other festivities with family and friends. Games, contests, prizes, exhibitions, and special guests filled the day amidst hundreds of nature paintings. After the event, the best paintings were chosen for special exhibitions throughout several locations in Yerevan.
The deadline for participating in the 7th Pan-Armenian Painting Contest is November 30th. Paintings can be submitted electronically at http://paintingday.sunchild.org.
The winners of the contest are selected by an independent jury and honored with awards, certificates, and prizes, which include bicycles, video cameras, and many more gifts provided by FPWC and its various partners.
