Orange presents innovations at Digitec Expo 2014

Orange has presented a number of new products and innovations at DigiTec Expo 2014 international information and telecommunications exhibition. 

In the domain of internet Orange presented the new MyFi, with the possibility of download speed up to 42,2 Mbps. MyFi is a H+/Wi-Fi modem that gives the possibility to create a Wi-Fi zone anywhere, connect up to 10 devices with Wi-Fi or a USB port (computer, notebook, smartphone, WiFi camera, game devices etc.) As a reminder, since the last year Orange has vastly extended its H+ (42,2 Mbps) network, now making it available to more than 86% of the population.

In its stand, Orange has as well presented the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices. The latest products of Apple will be available from the official producer , with a full warranty in Orange shops from November. Meanwhile, the visitors of the exhibition have the chance to test and experiment themselves the new features offered by the devices.

At the same time we concentrate our efforts in creating the necessary conditions and tailored offers, which would allow them to fully benefit from the innovative solutions and technology we put at their disposal”, - said Francis Gelibter, Orange Armenia CEO.

Orange has as well demonstrated the features of its “My Orange” application, which being introduced in November 2013, was the first one in the Armenian telecommunication industry and remains today the main downloaded application amongst the mobile players. “My Orange” application, made for Android and iOS platforms, is free of charge and allows Orange customers to easier manage their accounts. Users of the application can check their balance, make recharges, check Orange Merci points and convert them into minutes, SMS or data bundles, buy international minutes bundles, activate or deactivate the roaming service etc.

Amongst the presented innovative solutions, Orange has included as well the “ Orange Bloc”, a connected mobile video projector for home, developed by the Orange Group. This new device is compatible with WiFi and Bluetooth and enables users to review all the content from their smartphones, tablets and other devices, which can be easily connected to the “Orange Bloc”.
