Armenia’s business sector gets acquainted with new technological solutions

7th annual DigiTec International Business-Forum was held under “Smart solutions for Smart Business” theme on June 20-21. 64 companies – 51 local and 13 foreign – took part in the forum and presented their technological solutions. Over 3000 visitors attended the two-day forum, which is the two-fold of the number reported last year.

“This year the forum registered a growth in terms of both quality and quality compared to the previous years. The event was interesting for both business and private sectors owing to which the number of visitors increased. In terms of content, the forum was quite rich; issues healthcare, education, agriculture, construction, electronic governance and financial-banking sectors face were discussed, and technological solutions were presented to those issues”, said Executive Director of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) Karen Vardanyan.

We have once and again undertaken the role of the general sponsor of DigiTec Business-Forum and we have proved it has a special place in this process. At the forum Beeline presented its visitors various technological solutions related to mobile and fixed network as well as data transfer. In particular, the company presented Virtual Private Network (VPN) service owing to which offices located in various places get united within a common corporate network. It allows optimizing the company’s business process, ensuring the confidentiality of the transferred data and getting high quality network.

Also, the only fully equipped commercial call-center was presented; it allows facilitating, automatizing and accelerating the process of interaction between the company and the customer.

“My Beeline Armenia” mobile app which sparked huge interest among the visitors and the participants is a unique solution in its type. It provides a chance to control the personal cabinet on your own, activate and deactivate Beeline services, get relevant information on the tariff plans and services and get acquainted with the company’s new offers and news.

It should be noted that the forum was organized by the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE), and ArmenTel (Beeline trademark) is the general sponsor. The forum is traditionally held under the high auspices of the Armenian Prime Minister. Converse Bank and Russian ARinteg Company are the sponsors of the forum.
