“Self-burning” photos and other novelties in Photo4Tune

Cafe4Tune.com website created in the U.S. in 2012 by a group of businessmen of Russian and Armenian origin launched Photo4Tune mobile app a few months ago. The app allows users to make real-time photo-reports of important events and activities.

The app allows to draw up the history of the place the owner of the smartphone is currently in. All technical works related to working out and developing Photo4Tune app are carried out by young specialists in Yerevan.

The app is currently available in three languages. The versions in Japanese, Chinese and Arabic will be rolled out in the near future. It is planned to have the app available in as many as 40 languages.

Mediamax presents the latest innovations of Photo4Tune.

“Anonymous” photo mode

Photo4Tune allows posting anonymous photos ensuring user security.

Many users are in hold of valuable photos but they avoid posting them out of security measures. It’s where Photo4Tune’s “anonymous” mode stretches a hand. Thus, if you have witnessed an argument on the street, have shot it in the phone and want to share it, then you can do it via this app.

Chat and FireChat

From now on, you will have a chance for a free text and photo communication with people in your contacts also having Photo4Tune app. The photo-communication can be performed by both snapping a photo at that particular moment or by choosing a photo from your phone.

FireChat is another Photo4Tune innovation. The way it basically works is that after sending a message or a photo to someone, from the very moment they open it they have set time to read the text or see the photo. Once the time is up, the text or the photo disappears. It allows being sure the other user will not have enough time to download it in his phone.

Event classification

The events are classified from policy to city and gatherings.

The app allows creating a new event which might be open or closed. Anyone who wishes can join the open event, get acquainted with the participants and invite new people. Closed events are visible to only the person who creates it and those who have special invitation.

Imagine it’s someone’s birthday, who has decided to invite 10 people. All the invited guests post the party photos on the event page. It allows combining and seeing all photos made by various people at the event.

By the way, you can invite everyone to the events – the Photo4Tune user gets push notification on his phone and the app sends an SMS-message to all the friends.

Photo-search based on various parameters

The photo-search can be performed based on the geographical location, time of photo uploads, their description and classification.

There are two modes to determine the location - if your phone has a function indicating your location at the moment the photo is taken, then it will be displayed on the map, and if it does not have, then the place you are currently in will be marked on the map.

The map shows your current location. All points you will see marked on the map when using the app assume that users have posted pictures taken in that place via the app.

Each photo has “like”, “comment” and “share” options. The photos can be also shared on social websites via the app as well as be sent via the app’s chat. All photos are also saved in the phone.

The camera box can be found on the app page in order not to lose precious time and to rapidly fix the unexpected incidents.

Photo4Tune moderators continuously work to improve the content of the app, if you have noticed an event or photo violating the laws, you can report it. Moderators will get your report and if necessary, will remove the illegal content.

In the near future, the app will feature Video Posting, Group Chat and Follow Button functions, and later it will also have the Photo Edit option.
