During the visit the IUCN NL representatives presented the mission and objectives of IUCN, as well as the joint conservation project implemented by FPWC and VivaCell-MTS in Armenia - the Caucasus Wildlife Refuge project in Ararat region.
The measurable increase of wildlife in CWR is a direct indicator of the project’s efficiency, mainly the increase of Bezoar goats, Bearded vultures, Golden eagles and the presence of the endangered Caucasian leopard in CWR.
