ArmenTel expands 3G coverage in northern Armenia

ArmenTel (Beeline trademark) announced expansion of 3G network in border settlements in northern Armenia.

Starting from October 2013, the 3G network services including mobile 3G internet were available to residents of the communities of Mikhailovka and Privolnoe of Lori marz.

As a result of installation of 3G antennas, 3G coverage increased by 100square kilometers and Beeline 3G internet services were available for over 1 000 residents of both communities.

"We're improving our network and strive to provide mobile network and mobile internet to each subscriber irrespective of his location. Affordable and handy network provided by Beeline is available in various corners of the country day by day helping people to always stay in touch and use high-speed mobile 3G internet ", noted ArmenTel CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.

In August 2013, the company carried out works on expanding the mobile network in Syunik marz and the coverage increased by 22square km and the residents of communities of Khatsakh and Vahatur got full access to mobile network and Beeline 3G internet.
