VivaCell-MTS to sponsor the “New Names” festival

On June 2, the opening of the “New Names” Young Performers Third International Festival took place at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall. The Festival has been initiated and organized by Armenian “New Names” program (directed by the President of the Association of Cultural Workers, Honored Worker of Culture Silva Mekinyan).

The General Sponsor of the festival is VivaCell-MTS, the company informs.

During the opening ceremony young musicians performances were accompanied by the National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia (conductor, H. Arzumanyan).

This year about 40 young (up to 18 years old) musicians and performers from Russia, the United
States, Cuba, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Malta, Syria, Georgia, Armenia will participate at the Festival.
Most of them are laureates and participants of various international and national competitions and festivals and winners of scholarships, and have performed in different countries.
