107 schools to be provided with Wi-Fi

Yerevan/Mediamax/. On the initiative of the Armenian Ministry of Education and Science, “VivaCell-MTS” will provide free Wi-Fi on the territory of 107 schools.

Minister of Education and Science of Armenia Armen Ashotyan said this today, Mediamax reports.

He noted that the implementation of the program will dramatically improve the internet access in schools.

“The Internet will be available to pupils not only in a particular class but also on the whole territory of the school”, said Armen Ashotyan.

The Ministry plans to increase the number of schools connected to the internet up to 1403 till 2012.
