ArmenTel finishes digitization of the subscriber base of Sisian

Yerevan/Mediamax/. ArmenTel (Beeline trademark) will finish the digitization of the subscriber base and automatic switching centers in the town of Sisian.

The works include capital repairs and reconstruction of the subscriber base of the town and shifting of all the clients of landline network to new digital lines. Numbers of fixed “ArmenTel” network in Sisian will become 5-digit – “2” will add before the current 4-digit numbers. Code of Sisian will become 3-digit (283) instead of (2930) 4-digit one.

Multimillion investments of Armenia’s universal operator are aimed at making quality voice services and internet available not only in the capital but also in all the settlements of our country”, noted “ArmenTel” CEO Igor Klimko.

About 83% of subscribers of ArmenTel fixed network throughout Armenia are connected to digital stations of “ArmenTel” network. The overall length of the cables of the company’s subscriber network exceeds 13 000 km.
