4 telecommunication companies entered the list of top 100 taxpayers of Armenia

Yerevan/Mediamax/. 2 telecommunication companies entered the list of top 5 taxpayers of Armenia in the first quarter, 2011.

Mediamax reports that “ArmenTel” CJSC (Beeline trademark) occupied the 4th place as to the volume of paid taxes. The total sum of taxes, paid by the company in the first quarter, made AMD 3bln 144mln 790.4 thousand.

The 5th line belongs to “K-Telecom” CJSC (VivaCell-MTS trademark), which paid AMD 2bln 437mln 569.7 thousand of tax.

“Orange Armenia” CJSC occupied the 11th line among taxpayers following the results of the first quarter, paying AMD 1bln 281mln 44.8 thousand.

The 78th line in the list belongs to wholesale internet operator GNC-Alfa (AMD 219mln 390.9 thousand). Another wholesale transit internet operator FiberNet occupied the 481st line in the list, having paid AMD 34mln 270.7 thousand of tax.

Ucom internet provider paid AMD 46mln 965.6 thousand of tax following the result of the first quarter, occupying the 362nd line (in 2009, the company gained the right to delay VAT payment for 3 years within the framework of the government’s crisis prevention measures).

3 other internet providers appeared among 1000 top taxpayers in Armenia: iCON Communications (645th line, AMD 26mln 198.1 thousand), ADC (658th line, AMD 25mln 802.2 thousand) and Arminco (947th line, AMD 16mln 369.1 thousand).

As to the volume of social payments made in the first quarter, “ArmenTel” leaders among telecommunication operators of Armenia (6th line, AMD 254mln), then comes “K-Telecom” (7th line, AMD 230mln). Orange Armenia is on the 42nd line as to the sum of social payments (AMD 55.7mln).
