“ArmenTel” convergent product is almost formed and the company continues negotiations with PSRC

Yerevan/Mediamax/. “ArmenTel” continues negotiations with the Public Service Regulatory Committee (PSRC) of Armenia on introduction of convergent mobile-landline services.

Head of the Company Igor Klimko said this, answering the question of Mediamax.

“The product we want to offer is almost formed. We are ready to enter the market with this offer, however much depends on the stance of PSRC”, Igor Klimko stated.

Back in fall, 2010, General Director of “ArmenTel” stated that the company was carrying out negotiations concerning limitations, which the Armenian legislation imposed on provision of convergent services.

Assessing on Mediamax’s request the service the company offers, Igor Klimko noted that if before introduction of service quality improvement program the average time of waiting in line at Beeline offices made about 1 hour 40 minutes, today the time of waiting in line does not exceed 5-10 minutes.

“Over the past 1.5 years, we paid special attention to improving not only the quality of service, but also the quality of our network operation, and today the number of complaints of subscribers is the minimum for over the past 5-7 years”, General Director of “ArmenTel” stated.
