“Tsakhkadzor” Skiing Center opened, given assistance of “Vivacell-MTS”

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Opening of “Tsakhkadzor” Skiing Center took place on Tuesday, given financial assistance of “VivaCell-MTS” Company.

Mediamax was informed in the press service of the company that the center was essential in terms of organizing world-class championships, which were impossible before due to the lack of respective infrastructure. Thanks to the support from VivaCell-MTS now the center has professional equipment necessary for holding international championships.

“Hosting international championships in Armenia will not only be a great boost for Armenians’ pride and morale, but will also bring with it further economic growth in the form of improved infrastructure. Armenia is gradually becoming one of the attractive touristic destinations for winter sports, and we have to support this pan-Armenian aim,” told VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian.

VivaCell-MTS distributed 150 sets of Alpine and cross-country equipment to representatives from Tsakhkadzor, Hrazdan, Aparan, Vanadzor, Gyumri, Ashotsq and Yerevan. Due to 3G modems “NTS Connect”, reliable internet connection has also been established in Tsakhkadzor. This will contribute to holding contests in accordance with international standards.
