All participants of ArmNet Awards entered the final stage of the contest irrespective of the number of received votes

Yerevan/Mediamax/. All participants of ArmNet Awards contest of Armenian websites entered the final stage irrespective of the number of received votes.

Mediamax was informed in SP Marketing Solutions Company (organizer of the competition) that this decision was conditioned by program gaps of the voting system at the company’s website (www.armnetawards.am ), because of which some people managed to artificially increase the number of votes, and others, on the contrary, did not manage to vote for the favorite websites.

Public voting stage completed on November 30th. 640 websites participated in the contest. All in all 121 421 votes were received.

“Therewith the organizers apologize to those websites who participated in the contest candidly, and to people who gave their votes for their favorite websites. Determined to exclude unfair elections, the organizers assure you, that the professional jury will evaluate correctly the values of every website and will reveal the best ones”, the press service of SP Marketing Solutions stated. Selection of the best resources will take place by the international jury, which will include representatives of companies, such as Microsoft, RuTube, Vkontakte.ru and Opera Software.

Winners of the contest will be announced on December 4 at the official awarding ceremony, which will be preceded by international “From Outsourcing to Innovations” conference. The conference will take place on December 3-4 in Yerevan. It will mainly present the most advanced tendencies of internet technologies and prospects of their application in business.
