Yerevan/Mediamax/. Net operating proceeds of “ArmenTel” company (Beeline trademark) reduced by 6.5% in the second quarter, 2010, as compared to the analogous period of last year, making 17bln 73mln AMD (USD 44.5mln).
Mediamax reports referring operating and financial results of “VimpelCom Ltd.” That in the second quarter, 2010, the net operating proceeds from mobile and landline business of “ArmenTel” reduced respectively by 8.3% (6bln 701mln AMD) and 5.2% (10bln 372mln AMD), as compared to the analogous period of last year.
“ArmenTel” OIBDA (Operating Income Before Depreciation And Amortization) made 7bln 331mln AMD in the second quarter, 2010, having reduced by 20.5%, as compared to the same period in 2009.
The number of subscriber contracts in “ArmenTel” mobile segment increased by 16.7%, as compared to the second quarter of 2009, making 567 thousands as of June 30, 2010, and the number of broadband internet subscribers increased by 158.9% (or 30.5 thousands) in the accounting period, making 49.7 thousands.
The average monthly revenue per user (ARPU) of Beeline mobile connection in Armenia made 3 975 AMD in the second quarter, having reduced by 21.1%, as compared to the analogous period of 2009. At that MOU index (minutes of use) increased by 13.3% in the second quarter, as compared to the analogous period of last year, and made 270.1 minutes.
