VivaCell-MTS and FPWC launched “Green School” project in Vanadzor

Yerevan/Mediamax/. VivaCell-MTS mobile connection operator and Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC) launched “Green School” project in Vanadzor.

Mediamax was informed in the press service of VivaCell-MTS that the project is launched within the framework of “Green Generation 2010” campaign.

Till June the pupils of Vanadzor secondary school N10 will gather plastic bottles and used paper from different companies and organizations and will take them to “Sunchild” eco-club which will later deliver it to a recycling company.

With the money got from the recycling company for the delivered waste FWPC will get siblings to plant trees in the school area. Those students who will gather larger volumes of waste will be awarded with different prizes from FPWC and VivaCell-MTS.

FPWC plans to run “Green School” project on regular basis involving more students from all regions of Armenia.
