“ArmenTel” announced its 3G network broadening

Yerevan /Mediamax/. “ArmenTel” announced today broadening of Beeline 3G network in Armenia.

As Mediamax was informed in the press service of “ArmenTel”, Abovyan, Vanadzor, Gyumri and Etchmiadzin towns are fully provided with third generation network coverage. Dozens of new connection objects are installed in Yerevan and the capacity of 3G network has been increased over twofold. New basic stations have appeared in each district of Yerevan, in places, where subscribers are more active as to using mobile connection.

“We prepared a pleasant surprise for our customers for the beginning of the year. Upon necessity, our company will continue increasing the capacity of the third generation network in the capital city and in towns, where this technology is available, simultaneously broadening the geography of its coverage to other regions of the country as well. By the end of 2010, we plan to increase the total number of 3G basic stations threefold”, General Director of “ArmenTel” Igor Klimko stated.
