“IT Month” launched in Armenia

Yerevan /Mediamax/. “Computer Science and Information Technologies” International Conference (CSIT-2009) launched in Yerevan today.

As the Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsyan stated, the event is held within the framework of “IT Month” in Armenia. According to him, the topics of the conference, in particular, information safety, are very urgent for Armenia and may assist the government in making more efficient decisions.

Nerses Yeritsyan stated that within the framework of IT Month in Armenia, a number of events will be realized: exhibitions, conferences, awarding, opening of IT centers.

CSIT-2009 Conference, which will last till October 2, will be attended by over 200 specialists from 62 countries: the USA, Russia, Norway, Georgia, Brazil, Poland, etc.
