This annual event, held on October 5-6, 2022, and organized by the Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology (FAST), explores the impact of novel technologies on human life.
Armen Orujyan, Founding CEO of FAST, stated that the GIF has become the Foundation's flagship event positioning Armenia as a country of innovations.
"The Global Innovation Forum is a unique format for exchanging thought-provoking ideas and promoting dialogue between representatives of the government, educational, scientific, and entrepreneurial ecosystems both local and international. Science is not limited to any space, it is global in terms of its creation and availability, and the key to scientific work is cooperation. We are glad to have prominent scientists, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders all over the world here supporting us in our mission to put Armenia on the world innovation map," said Armen Orujyan.
Artificial Intelligence is a booming technological domain capable of altering every aspect of our social and professional interactions. Orujyan believes that Armenia has the potential to excel in AI and become one of the leading AI nations if all necessary investments are made.
GIF22 is a unique platform to unite world-class professionals, scientists, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders in Armenia to discuss their experiences, successes and failures, technological advancements, and future directions of AI from an interdisciplinary perspective.
Noubar Afeyan, Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of Moderna Inc, confirmed his participation in the event as a visionary speaker.
Along with the energizing visionary talk, keynote presentations, and fireside chats, the participants are also a part of an engaging experience: fishbowl sessions, panel discussions, and Q&As with distinguished speakers.
Global Innovation Forum brought together around 70 speakers and guests from 20+ countries and more than 1000 participants interested in AI and life-altering technologies. In previous years, more than 200 speakers from 26 countries and over 3500 forum participants took part in these events.
