Ucom founders speak out about recent developments

Founders of Ucom, brothers Hayk and Alexander Yesayan has issued a statement regarding the recent developments in the company.

Hayk Yesayan has confirmed the reports that he submitted a resignation letter, after which hundreds of Ucom employees submitted theirs.

As of the moment, 576 employees submitted letters of resignation, including the entire senior management, middle-level managers, and the entire technical staff. However, even the employees who have quit continue working to secure continuous communications, especially given the state of emergency in Armenia and the importance of communications in this situation. The current state of affairs in the company is the result of disagreements between shareholders.

The Yesayan brothers, who founded the company and hold 5.94% of the shares, suggested the other owners to purchase their shares, offering AMD 22,100bn for 94.06% of the shares.

Hayk Yesayan has said in the statement that he and Alexander Yesayan intend to make it possible for Ucom employees to buy 20% of the shares on beneficial conditions and thus become shareholders.
