Rostelecom is supporting distance learning in Armenia

In cooperation with Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, Rostelecom has launched a new educational TV channel Hybrid Edu (ch 121), which will be broadcasted via the company’s Smart TV starting from March 19.

The project is implemented in partnership with HYBRID SOLUTIONS.

Hybrid Edu programme includes materials for a number of public school subjects, which will be available with a 7-day catch-up function.

The video lessons will also be available in the Ministry of Education subsections of the Series section in the Smart TV film library.

“We are happy to support distance learning in Armenia, which has recruited the best experts and teachers. It is very important to join forces and ensure continuous educational process for educational institutions.

We call on everyone to use every distance learning tool – video calls, social media, e-mail, etc. – in order to make the process more efficient and keep the educational process going. Rostelecom with its technological capacity is fully prepared for providing any type of online service which is used in education and other sectors,” said Rostelecom Armenia CEO Hayk Faramazyan.

The daily schedules will be released on the Facebook page of the Education Ministry. The video lessons are regularly added to the Youtube channel.
