Rostelecom launches In-Class series of English video lessons

In cooperation with New Way education center, Rostelecom is launching a series of English video lessons for Smart TV subscribers. The series, titled In-Class, is available from November 7.

With this initiative Rostelecom enables its subscribers to learn and improve their English for free.

“In-Class video lessons are available in a separate section of the Rostelecom Smart TV film library, so anyone in Yerevan and the marzes can use them.

The videos were made by qualified specialists from New Way. They comply with the ESL (English as a Second Language) and EFL (English as a Foreign Language) standards,” Rostelecom said in an announcement.

The video lessons are in Armenian. Rostelecom plans to increase the content of the In-Class service by creating more videos and adding more topics.

“This is a new direction of work for us, as we provide our subscribers with educational content via Smart TV. Anyone can watch these video lessons, self-educate and develop skills that are so important today,” said Rostelecom Armenia CEO Hayk Faramazyan.

The videos are in open access for all Rostelecom subscribers and easy to use.
