VivaCell-MTS to install Mobile ID in Armenia’s e-health system

General partner of the 5th International Medical Congress of Armenia, mobile operator VivaCell-MTS has announced it will install Mobile ID in the country’s e-health system.

VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian has spoken at the congress, noting that the company attaches significance to development of the electronic healthcare system, which is a global trend.

Yirikian has stated that VivaCell-MTS has already reached an agreement on installation of Mobile ID with National e-Health Operator CJSC, the company managing Armenia’s e-health system. Mobile ID will be the platform that conducts registering and high-accuracy identification of patients in the e-health database.

Prime Minister of Armenia has attended the official opening ceremony of the congress and welcomed the participants. President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II addressed the attendees as well. The ceremony also featured as speakers President of the congress Armen Charchyan, Health Ministers of Armenia and Artsakh respectively Arsen Torosyan and Arayik Baghryan, and VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian.
