IBM delegation visits Armenia

IBM representatives Pascale Xelot, Director for Developer Ecosystems & Startups of Europe, and Clemence Lebrun, Cloud Developer Advocate of Europe paid a visit to Armenia on June 20-22.

The IBM delegation met with Open Government Data Hackathon winners and Climate Change Tech Accelerator’s ventures, representatives of the Armenian startup ecosystem and IT Ministry of Armenia, visited Engineering City, and held talks about business and cloud innovation during BarCamp EVN19.

During the BarCamp talks, Pascale spoke about multinationals fostering the growth of the tech startups and the challenges of the nowadays world, while Clemence spoke about the role of IBM Watson in the epicenter of developers’ attention.
