PM hopes to turn Armenia a “country of startups“

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed hope that Armenia will turn into a “country of startups”.

He said this at the meeting with students of AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School, who came to Armenia from Los Angeles.

Prime Minister Pashinyan noted that the government has selected three priority fields in the economy, and tech sector is the first one.

“I am hopeful that Armenia will soon turn into a country of startups, and the tech sector will develop further. We have recently undergone changes in the government’s structure and established the Ministry of High-Tech Industry. We hope it will boost the tech sector,” Nikol Pashinyan said.
