Luys Foundation to cease financing FAST projects

Luys Foundation will withdraw from financing the next projects of Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology (FAST), starting from May 31.

The corresponding statement is made in the letter by the office of retired Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, which has been sent today to FAST co-founders Ruben Vardanyan, Noubar Afeyan, Fr. Mesrop Aramyan and Artur Alaverdyan.

“Luys Foundation is discussing and reviewing its current programs in order to outline the main vectors for the future educational programs.

We are certain FAST will continue playing the same unique role in Armenia’s technological advancement and development of environment for innovation.

We are grateful for the efforts we have made together in recent times,” reads the message.
