Garage48 Arts&Culture 2017 hackathon accepts applications

On December 15-17 Yerevan will be hosting Garage48 Arts&Culture 2017 hackathon for the first time.

The Garage48 hackatons, which started in Estonia and Silicon Valley, are held in countries with rapidly developing tech sector.

This hackathon aims to bring together the brightest minds of Armenian cultural heritage and arts community with the technology sector and startup community specialists to develop innovative and sustainable products fostering the improvement, growth and preservation of Armenian cultural heritage.

To participate in the hackathon, you need to register here.

UI and UX designers, passionate ethnographers, art historians, cultural theorists and artists, inspired and inspiring project managers, dedicated developers and engineers and representatives of any other field with a passionate attitude towards arts, culture, heritage and hacking are welcome to join the event and deliver innovative working prototypes in just 48 hours.

English is the official language of the event. Team of expert mentors will also be present, involving local and Estonian specialists. The best teams will receive monetary support.
