On August 17, within the framework of the visit to Armenia the delegation of the Ministry of Communications of the Republic of Iraq met with the members of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE).
During the meeting UITE presented the Armenian IT sector developments, the programs implemented by the Union including the goals and success of the Armath Engineering Laboratory youth program.
The companies such as Ucom, IUNetworks, WEB, Niccoma, Freedom Development, Instigate Design, BetContrsuct have participated at the meeting and presented their experiences and products.
Considering the achievements of Armenian ICT sector, the Iraqi side has shown interest in collaboration in R&D, educational programs, security and e-Governance, as well as the export of Armenian IT solutions and investment opportunities.
As a reminder, within the frames of its strategy in assisting the Armenian IT companies to enter the international market, the UITE recently had met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran Artashes Tumanyan.
